books...are much better when not school-issued. go ahead, study your life away, learn about photosynthesis, and mark twain, and who wrote "The Lady, or The Tiger?" do it all, and pass with flying colours...but in the long run, who's going to care? your life partner? if they truly love you, it will be regardless of your documented intelligence level. learn all these obscure facts that were hidden in dusty books for centuries, and then boast that you have learned it. does it make you better than anyone else? go ahead and work your way into college, a first rate college at that...go right ahead. then realize you have no money and take out loans; you'll spend the rest of your life paying them off. when you're finally done, you'll just be another old person who can't relate to kids, and who misses their younger days, which were wasted away from working some monotonous job. but who am i to say you don't enjoy monotony?
